Her Story

Douglas Eugene Wallace died on March 20, 1986, at the age of 31.

He came to Oklahoma City in 1980, moving from Wichita Falls, Texas.

Douglas served his country as a veteran of the Air Force.

He spent 11 years working as a store manager for the Sherman Williams Paint Co.

He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Douglas was survived by his mother, Mary Jean Wallace of Hutchinson, Kansas; his brother, Mike, of Langdon, Kansas; his five sisters, Connie Labrecque of Altus, Kathy McClanahan of Salina, Kansas, Carol McKee of Charleston, South Carolina, Debbie Gibson and Becky Wallace, both of Hutchinson, Kansas; and his maternal grandmother, Edna Ribble of Salina, Kansas.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Guardian West Chapel, with interment at 4 p.m. in Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson, Kansas.
